Tiger Woods‘ absence on the greens is felt largely by the golfing community. The golfing legend has been off the field for a while now because of his health-related concerns. The PGA Tour Champion’s ankle has been causing a bit of trouble for him in recent months, and so, the star has been MIA from the pro realm. Irrespective of his absence though, Woods has been raking the headlines because of his allies leaving his side. 

Amid Jon Rahm‘s TGL exits and Xander Schauffele’s PGA Tour withdrawal, speculations about Woods returning to the field have been driving the carts crazy. Amid these to-and-fro’s, a glimpse of Woods on the greens in the Bahamas has caused the golf world to hold its breath.

In the tropical allure of The Bahamas, a seismic ripple echoed through the golfing world as Tiger Woods stepped onto the range at Albany. TWLEGION, the Tiger Woods update account on X, recently broke the news about Woods being spotted playing on the greens in the Bahamas. As per the tweet, the golfer was seen hitting drivers, and his presence insinuated a “potential start in a matter of weeks.”

After Tiger Woods’ ankle fusion surgery, the player has withdrawn from most of this year’s professional golfing events. The last time Woods was seen on the green was in October when he caddied for his son Charlie at the Notah Begay III Invitational. Since then, speculations about the player’s returns have been in the roars. With the upcoming Hero World Challenge in line and the PNC Championship following just after, all eyes are set on the legend as the fans and the golfing world await to see the player in action again.

The speculations have been going a go around in the golf town for a while now, as this isn’t the first time in the last few days that Woods was seen practicing on the course. The golfer’s recent ‘Monster’ update from the lush greens also drove the hopes of fans up the hills.

The player was spotted on the course during a corporate outing with his surprising new companion, and the news set the golfing world is abuzz with speculation about this unconventional pairing and the potential significance of Woods testing a new TaylorMade driver, replacing his Stealth OG.
