Bubba Watson hints at major LIV changes to take place

The LIV league was popular for its unconventional nature. Even the league selected its players without any qualifying system. But as of now, after the major OWGR setback, the league is taking things seriously. Even a chance of relegating players looms over them.

Now, ahead of the LIV Golf event in Miami, captain Bubba Watson was joined in a press conference. There, the golfer was asked to talk about his views about the new golfers joining the league and the next wave coming. And to this, he answered, “Right now in the short term. There’s open spots. There’s interest. There’s people calling, texting, even me, and I don’t have any pull. So they are asking for help to try to get in the League.” He stated that golfers are eager to join the league.

Added to that, he also said, “Phil knows it. We all know it. The high-ups know it, and we are just working through the details right now behind the scenes to see what fits and what makes sense for the league getting better and improving.”
