Tiger Woods has teed off for the 2022 PGA Championship. He is playing this round with Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy. However, an interesting thing happened after playing his first tee shot. Tiger bombed his drive off the tee on the first hole and was walking towards his ball.

Therefore, while walking, the cameraman was beside Tiger, following him. And Woods kind of did not like it, as he wanted some breathing space. “Mind giving me some breathing space, please?” said Tiger. However, the cameraman mostly did not pick what he said, and hence, Woods repeated the same thing and said, “Mind giving me some breathing space, please?”

But still, the cameraman continued to walk with him, and this was when Tiger signaled him and said, “Back off.” And this is when the cameraman backed off, and Woods continued to walk towards his ball. 

Woods is in the tournament zone, and he looks completely dialed in with his game as of now. However, it all comes down to his body, as that’s the most challenging thing for Tiger right now.

Tiger Woods started off the 2022 PGA Championship with a birdie

Tiger Woods started the 2022 PGA Championship with a birdie on the par-4 10th hole. He bombed his drive off the tee right in the middle of the fairway. Moreover, he played an impeccable approach shot around 3ft from the pin. Hence, this is a clear indication that Woods is in the zone.

Furthermore, Jordan Spieth has also started off well with Rory McIlroy. All these three golfers are playing some breathtaking strokes, and it’s a treat for all the fans watching this featured group. Moreover, these golfers teed off from the 10th hole.

So as of now, Tiger, Spieth, and Rory have played four holes, while two of them are T5, while one is T3. Woods and Jordan are T5 with a score of -1. Meanwhile, the Irishman Rory McIlroy is -2 with two back-to-back birdies on the 12th and 13th holes, respectively.
