It wasn’t the start the U.S. team was hoping for, but their resilience in the afternoon session on the second day gave a glimmer of hope. Despite trailing Europe 10½-5½, the Americans still have an opportunity for a remarkable turnaround.

The team clinched the victory with a final score of 14½ to 13½, despite the Europeans’ 10-6 lead going into the last round.
