The PGA Tour Champions and LIV Golf had come together! Well, not the leagues, but their two stars, Bryson DeChambeau and John Daly, collaborated for the ‘Break 50’ challenge. The iconic video showcased some of the best moments of the PGA Tour’s Santa Claus, one of which was his constant joking around on the course.

While the two were heading to a hole, in a clip posted on X by NUCLR Golf, Daly explained that the Old Hickory Country Club in Nashville (where the two were playing) was built in 1926 and joked that it has greens faster than his divorces. Right after that, the 58-year-old revealed his hidden cooler in the golf cart.

Daly named it “Fore” and it has more than two dozen cans lined in rows. He explained, “It goes everywhere I go.” And even DeChambeau was amazed at the revelation and chuckled, saying, “Are you kidding me? Wait, serious? Oh, My Gosh!” What does the cooler have in it? As per the PGA Tour star, it had the “best non-carbonated drink in the world,” Well, he didn’t disclose the name of the drink, but it was surely the favorite of JD.

The ‘Fore’ cooler was surprising, but it was expected that the party boy of the Tour would take with him his favorite beverages, even if he was playing in the challenge. After all, the professional events didn’t stop, so a challenge wouldn’t do it either. After the snippet from the YouTube video went viral on X, the fans were awestruck by Daly’s carefree demeanor.

The golf world goes gaga over John Daly’s secret cooler

Out of all things, not even playing barefoot shocked the masses as much as Fore did. It was hilarious that John Daly had a stash of beer whenever he played a round. It is surely not unexpected, but it is rarely a scene in a YouTube golf video. Hence, this fan was totally out of control after Daly showed the cooler and, hilariously, said, “I really did spit out my drink laughing.” Additionally, not everyone uses a cooler in the golf cart, which gave many fans a new idea of making their gold trips adventurous. This fan admired the golf cart and its owner, saying, “Coolest golf cart I have seen in my life. Johns a badass!”

From the outlook, Daly gives the impression of a tough and stern golfer. However, in the video, he was anything but that. The 58-year-old joked about never getting ahead of oneself and gave his example, saying it was the worst thing. He also jokingly said that being drunk helped him play better. Overall, Daly enjoyed every second, as did the fans. One viewer said, “John Daly seems like the most chill guy.” While another user complimented the 2-time major winner and said, “John Daly is an American legend.”

While Daly’s golf prowess is undeniable, his nonchalant demeanor has gained both admiration and ire. He was brutally criticized last month after he took a drive over a beer can, leaving the golf world unimpressed. Despite that, one fan expressed their support for the ‘Bad Boy’ of golf and said, “How do you not just love John Daly?? He is the walking example of no giving a f**k about anything and the man can play some golf. Go John!!”
