Beau Hossler WITB 2023: All You Need To Know About the PGA Tour Pro’s Golf Bag

The 2023 Zozo Championship is currently underway at the Narashino Country Club in Japan. After the second round, PGA Tour pro Beau Hossler took the lead with aplomb. On Friday, he shot a round of 65 which was the lowest score of the day and he beat the field average by seven shots. It’s his career fifth 36-hole lead.

The 28-year-old does not have any wins on the Tour as yet but it looks like this could be the week he could finally taste his maiden win. He has after all packed up his golf bag with strong equipment.

What pieces of equipment does Beau Hossler use?

At the age of 17, the California-based golfer qualified for his second consecutive US Open in 2012 and made a T29th finish. Then after playing on the Web.com Tour for a year, he joined the PGA Tour full-time. Though he has numerous wins to his name as an amateur golfer, his search for a win on the PGA Tour continues. And while he is trying his best to make this dream come true in Japan, let’s take a look at his gears.

For Driver, he uses the Titleist TSi3. They are specially made at a single foundry in Pittsburgh. It is made for players who create consistent contact and require more precise control over CG placement. Its adjustability features are designed to deliver maximum benefit for every player. His Fairway Wood is the Callaway Rogue ST LS which has a high MOI head built for lower spin along with a stronger trajectory. It comes deep fitted with the Tungsten Speed Cartridge on the driver’s head, it increases speed on off-center hits and provides more forgiveness. It retails for $400.

For Irons Beau again depends upon Titleist and uses a group of them. First is the T200 four-iron which he has been using for a long time. He also uses 620CB’s, which ranges from 5-9-iron which features a Project X IO 115 6.5 X shaft.

His putter is the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten which is a bend face-balanced mallet best suited for golfers with strokes with minimal face rotation and arc. It is equipped with two adjustable 15-gram weights. They are stiffer and stable for consistency in stroke and retail for $300. From equipment to clothing Hossler uses a variety of equipment and clothing from top brands. His clothes sponsor is Travis Matthew and he wears FootJoy shoes.
