The sports world has recently attempted to capitalize on this in its own unique way. The popularity of sports documentaries has been steadily growing in recent times. Following the PGA Tour’s announcement of its series, ‘Full Swing,’ the LPGA Tour too now hopes to have every golf fan on the edge of their seats with their recent announcement of a new series.

As per their site, LPGA.com, through its new docu series, the LPGA wishes to inspire the younger generation and introduce them to its rich 70-year history.

In a recent tweet, Amy Rogers, a contributor for Golf Channel, revealed the LPGA’s new series. She wrote, “The LPGA has announced a new 10 episode series called “Drive On: LPGA All Access” to provide fans with an inside look at players’ lives.”

Many fans express their excitement for the show, stating it can’t get here fast enough.

Fans even suggested they would watch Drive On with their children before the PGA Tour’s series launches soon. “Will definitely watch this before the Netflix series on this past PGA season,” wrote one fan.

Fans took out the time to diss LIV golf too suggesting this would get watched more that the Saudi-backed series.

Details about the Drive On

The docu series will first debut on February 6 at 8 p.m. EST. It will not be airing exclusively on a network or app, but instead on the LPGA’s official website, LPGA.com, and YouTube. The trailer for the 10-episode serial has also been released and has enticed many fans.

The first episode will feature behind-the-scenes moments from LPGA Tour winners like Gemma Dryburgh, Ashleigh Buhai, and Jodi Ewart Shadoff playing in the 2023 Tournament of Champions at Hilton Grand Vacations.

Although the series focuses on golf, it has an underlying meaning. The show is meant to celebrate hard work. The LPGA hopes that the viewers can take away the resolve and persistence to achieve one’s goals. It will include exclusive moments between players both on and off the course throughout the 2023 season.
