But to his painful surprise, his hat got caught above the rope, causing his forehead to bash against the rope.

The player immediately sat down with his hand covering his forehead, frowning in pain. His team and the surrounding fans tried to offer him a little support. 

But when the video of the incident went viral online, the golfer’s fans left no stone unturned to make fun of him.

Although the golfer didn’t suffer any major injuries after the incident, his fans decided to give all kinds of reactions to the video. The majority of his fans found the video funny and cracked numerous jokes in the comments on Twitter. Some even called it the best thing they had seen on Twitter.

While other fans compared the golfer to a soccer player for the way he sat down right after the incident.

But most of them tried to bring in the LIV vs PGA Tour controversy in the conversation. They even said that such an incident had never happened on the “real” tour. While others claimed that he would blame it on the PGA Tour.
