The 2022 Masters is just around the corner, and Tiger Woods is trying his best to compete at the event. Moreover, the 15-time major championship winner even played a quick practice round at Augusta on Sunday. Billy Horschel accompanied Woods on the range and he made an incredible revelation regarding Woods’ golf game.

Eldrick Woods planned a training session at the golf course yesterday. The 82-time PGA Tour winner was seen at the practice range and even played a quick nine holes during his preparation to evaluate his body before committing to play at the major event. Not to forget, the 46-year-old professional is still in the field, but unlike regular Tour events, he has until Masters week to confirm his playing status.
Woods hit 33 golf balls, including seven, with his driver in a quick 20-minute practice session. After which, he hopped into the cart and was seen heading towards the 10th tee box.

Moreover, the 2019 Masters champion was accompanied by the American professional Billy Horschel on the range. Billy even gave a tight hug to Woods and even spoke about Woods’ game and his chances of playing in the event.
Billy said, “He looked like the Tiger we saw before the accident, the way the swing looked and the speed. For him to hopefully be playing – which I think he is – I think we’re all giddy about it.” Moreover, Woods has an interview scheduled on Tuesday at 11:00 AM ET, and a decision regarding playing the 86th Masters can be expected on the same day.

When did Woods last win at the Masters tournament?
The five-time Masters winner recently won at the Augusta National Golf Club in 2019. Woods won his fifth green jacket with an overall score of 13-under-par. As a result, he emphatically won the event with a one-shot lead. Moreover, the golf legend carded a final round of two-under-par, 70 to triumph at the major championship event. Woods’ final round featured three birdies and two bogeys on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in one under par, 35. Tiger made a similar score on the back nine on route to a famous victory at the 2019 Masters.
