Brooks Koepka talks about his favorite course in the world

Playing a major championship is every golfers’ dream. And to make it special, getting an opportunity to play the Open Championship is like a cherry on the top. However, Brooks Koepka is one of the many professionals who has been fortunate enough to play the Open.

In a recent video uploaded up by the Open on their Instagram account, Brooks is seen opening up about his memories relating to the Championship and his first time playing the Open. It was truly amazing to hear Brooks speaking his heart out about the event.

Brooks said, “The first time I ever played the Open was at Muirfield and I think I made eight on the first hole. I’ve always loved it I’ve loved coming over here it’s just so much fun it’s because it’s different.”

He also spoke about his favorite course and his favorite place in the entire world. He added, “St Andrews, my favorite golf course in the world. I can play that every day and not get tired of it, it is my favorite place in the entire world. The town is just so much fun.”

More so now, it will be a sight for sore eyes to see Brooks tee it up at the 150th Open at St. Andrews.

Koepka on playing the 150th Open

In the same video, Brooks also spoke on how he feels about the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews, also known as the home of golf. Brooks said, “It is always exciting to play St. Andrews, but you know, to have the 150th there I think it is really neat shows just how special that place is and as a player its, I think the best place in the world to play.”

What a feeling it will be for Koepka to win at one of his favorite golf courses in the world.
