Besides being a model-entrepreneur-mother, Jena Sims is also a philanthropist who has regularly been involved in different social causes. And besides being an ace golfer-dad, Brooks Koepka is a caring husband who has stood by his wife’s side and helped in her endeavor whenever he could. That has also given him the opportunity to form unlikely friendships.

Once again, Jena Sims’ involvement in a social cause offered Koepka the chance to rekindle an unlikely friendship that started courtesy of his wife. This time, though, Koepka enjoyed it to his heart’s content at a dinner gala.

Brooks Koepka matches footsteps with his BFF

Koepka’s BFF is no ordinary person. He is neither a golfer nor someone from his myriad connections across multiple sports or the celebrity world. But he has become a celebrity nonetheless, after dancing with Brooks Koepka and getting a hug from him.

Jena Sims was the co-chair at the 2023 Palm Beach Best Buddies Champion of the Year Gala. The Best Buddies Championship is an initiative to bring together community leaders and pledge their support for fundraising to help people with intellectual and developmental disorders. It was there that Koepka met with his best buddy again.

Darian Testoni was lucky to be Koepka’s best buddy. The five-time Major winner posted a photo with Testoni on his Instagram story, captioning, “Always love seeing my guy Darian @Bestbuddiespb.” In it, one can clearly see the 33-year-old golfer hugging the kid from behind. In another video, he was seen dancing with Testoni while Justin Bieber’s Baby played in the background. It was difficult to say who enjoyed it more. But our bet will be on the LIV Golf Jeddah winner. After all, Koepka never shied away from a good party.

For Koepka, this was an opportunity to rekindle the camaraderie he formed earlier this year. That time, all it took was FaceTime, arranged by Jena Sims.

How did Koepka meet his best buddy?

Interestingly, Koepka met Darian through his other half, Sims. The 34-year-old runs an organization, Pageant of Hope, with a mission to empower children who are facing different types of physical and intellectual challenges in their lives. Testoni belonged to her organization.

The little kid was also a massive Koepka fan. Knowing this, Sims arranged a face-time with his husband, which made his day. Sims wrote on her Instagram story, “Darian getting a quick pep talk from his BFF.” Koepka didn’t enjoy it any less at that time, as his excitement this time shows.

The mission of this organization was to form meaningful relationships between best buddies and their peers. Well, Brooks Koepka has taken it to heart.
