The players rip on each other, sometimes raising eyebrows, but they are actually friends, as demonstrated by the rumors instigated by Justin Thomas and Wyndham Clark. As businesspeople with a lot at stake, the Saudi-backed circuit sure has tremendous insight into controversy. No doubt, they were expecting a showdown between the two rivals at some point, although it is doubtful that they expected this moment to come so soon.
