Fans always remember what their favorite players do. After a recent video post by LPGA, golf fans have trolled DeChambeau for the incident in September. Therefore, now the question is, what was the video about? And why did people dig him indirectly? However, let’s find out who this golfer is being compared to, the pro golfer of LIV, who is also one of the best.
Why did fans compare Bryson DeChambeau to this golfer?
A few days back, the official Twitter handle of LPGA posted a video of Lydia Ko. She was carding a birdie at the Pelican Women’s championship. The center of attention here for fans was how she handled the rope. Even though she carded a great birdie, people noticed more about how she could walk under the rope. However, Lydia also stood there holding the rope for other players.
Therefore, her actions got the attention of golf fanatics. They compared it to DeChambeau‘s ‘dramatical’ encounter with the rope. His reaction to being stuck with a string was unexpectedly not required. According to fans, Lydia could get under the rope without getting hurt and was away from drama. Comments like “Nice birdie! Good thing she avoided being Bryson’ed.” were made. Followed by another, “And she managed to get under the rope without any drama.”

Even the Twitter handle ‘Over the Line’ could not hold it. Therefore, it posted the video sarcastically, but the captain said it all. It read, “Bryson DeChambeau survived an assassination attempt today at the LIV golf tournament. The rope in question has been an outspoken supporter of the PGA Tour on social media. More details to come.” It is fair to conclude that people thought the bulked-up DeChambeau was dramatic.
What happened to DeChambeau?
DeChambeau collided with a gallery rope. This happened at Rich harvest farms during a LIV event in September. However, he took full force and walked right into it with the speed of a one-mile-per-hour collision, injuring his forehead. He crumpled to his left knee on the ground with obvious pain.

However, dramatization was highlighted in every angle of the video making rounds on the internet then. Fans could not get enough of it. One of the fans took it to another level and made a funny comment. He wrote, “possibly the funniest and most dramatic thing I’ve ever seen on a golf course. Bryson vs. a gallery rope. Wow!”
