The Saudi Golf League continues to be the main topic in the golfing world. With rumors traveling around that players are receiving huge offers to become part of the rival tour. Statements are coming out after professionals like Bryson DeChambeau as well as, Dustin Johnson stating that they are continuing to be a part of the PGA Tour only.

Not to forget, if any professionals join hands with the Saudi Golf League, he will be suspended temporarily or even a lifetime ban can also be enforced.

In light of the recent revelations, Rory has spoken about both Brysons as well as, DJ’s statements. Rory said, I was really glad to see DJ and Bryson put out those statements this week.

Rory on Phil’s comments about the PGA Tour

Rory also spoke about Phils’ vocal comments about the PGA Tour in the past as well. McIlroy said, “I thought they were naive, selfish, egotistical, ignorant. A lots of words to describe that interaction he had with Shipnuck. It was just very surprising and disappointing, sad. I’m sure he’s sitting at home sort of rethinking his position and where he goes from here.”
