Bryson DeChambeau receives a mouth-watering offer

Saudi Arabia-backed Saudi Golf League has been in news for quite some time now. The league is a rival to the PGA Tour as well as, the DP World Tour. As a result, various professionals have received appetizing deals. Recently, the league is offering a whopping amount of $30 million. Players like Lee Westwood are said to have signed a nondisclosure agreement with SGL. Dustin Johnson is another professional in the news for receiving an offer. Dustin Johnson was asked if he had received a similar offer like Ian Poulter. He replied, No, not similar!”.  It will be interesting to see who all will accept the offer. As the PGA Tour as well as, the DP World Tour has made it clear, that professionals can suffer a ban if they indulge with the Saudi league.

Bryson DeChambeau has always been in midst of controversies. The American professional is in news once again. He is reportedly being offered a whopping $135 million to be the face of the Saudi Golf League. He is currently in the 26th position on PGA Tour’s career earnings list. His earnings are $26,112,307. It will be quite intriguing to see whether Bryson takes the offer or not? According to reports, the Saudi-backed league is offering a total pool of $1.5 billion. If Bryson takes the deal he will surpass Tiger Woods’s career earnings.

Round one leader at Saudi International

The 2022 Saudi International started with a firing round by Matteo Manassero. The Italian carded an opening round of 62, eight under par, and leads by two strokes heading into the second round. He carded six birdies in the front nine. As a result, making the turn in 29, six-under-par. He then went on to add two more birdies to his tally in the back nine. His card did not include any bogeys.
