Bubba Watson recently shared a post on Instagram and revealed an impressive possession that he acquired. He revealed that he has got the legendary Michael Jordan rookie card. Moreover, he used the hashtag kidDreams, which shows that owning this rookie card was his childhood dream. 

The two-time Masters champion unveiled the sports memorabilia on Instagram. It is a 1986 rookie card of Michael Jordan preserved in a plastic wrap.  

Furthermore, Bubba is a huge Michael Jordan fan and is also good friends with the legendary NBA player. Additionally, we all know how much Jordan loves to play golf, and he also has great connections in the golfing world. However, not many people own the Michael Jordan rookie card, and hence Bubba is one of the lucky ones to own this.

Michael Jordan shares his old shoes with Bubba Watson

Bubba Watson once wore a pair of Air Jordan golf shoes that weren’t in the market for sale. However, when asked, Bubba revealed that he got these shoes from the legendary Michael Jordan himself. Moreover, they are close friends and wear the same size shoes hence he gets a lot of MJ’s old shoes as well.  

He wore these shoes at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic and revealed the secret in the post-round interview. “I know MJ pretty well, and we wear the same size, so I get a lot of his old shoes,” revealed Bubba. Hence, this shows the close relationship between the two.

Moreover, Watson recently had a below-average Masters as he finished T39 for the event. He carded +7 for the event and never looked in control of his game. Additionally, he hasn’t won an event since June 2018. The last time he lifted the trophy was the Travelers Championship, and since then, he hasn’t been able to cross the finish line.

Additionally, he has cut down on the events and is only competing in selected events. But hopefully, Watson will attain his peak level soon and reengineer the performances that he crafted in 2018.
