During their marriage, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren were widely considered the ‘most powerful couple’ in the world of sports. However, as years passed, the dark truth of their marriage unfolded, ruining the reputation of the golfer as well as his ex-wife. Though Nordegren had nothing to be blamed for, she once shared her dismay with the whole infidelity saga.

In 2004, after three years of dating, Woods finally married Nordegren in the Bahamas. Nonetheless, the marriage came crashing down five years later, when Tiger’s cheating allegations became public. As per reports, the golfer had extramarital affairs with nearly 120 women.

Tiger Woods’ ex-wife’s strong mentality helped her overcome trouble

During their marriage, Woods was at the top of the sporting world. He remained number one in the rankings for 281 consecutive weeks and had added plenty of Major trophies to his cabinet. Nordegren too was enjoying her then-husband’s glorious days by supporting him from the sidelines. But it all ended after the infidelity scandal broke out.

Following their separation in 2010, Elin Nordegren spoke to the People and shared her thoughts. She discussed how everything has changed within a small period. “I’ve been through hell”, the Swedish model said while referring to the last few months.

Elin Nordegren further added, “It’s hard to think you have this life, and then all of a sudden—was it a lie? You’re struggling because it wasn’t real. But I survived. It was hard, but it didn’t kill me”. She remained strong and positive following her divorce from the 15-time Major winner.

Four years after the interview, Nordegren graduated with a Psychology degree with top honors from Rollins College. Moreover, she moved on from the legendary golfer and is currently dating former NFL Tight End, Jordan Cameron. Nordegren gave birth to the couple’s second baby boy last month, during the 2022 PNC Championship, where Tiger and his son Charlie congratulated her on live television.
