With the holiday season going on, a majority of sports tournaments are off to a short hiatus. Not much has been happening in golf too. But thanks to Internet sensation Paige Spiranac, fans have been glued to their smartphones to follow the actions of the popular golfer. However, the SI model had become less frequent with her posts and social media activities recently. While fans have been a bit concerned about her recent inactivity, Spiranac has finally opened up on a scary life update that had been plaguing her lately.

The 29-year-old recently revealed that she received a major health scare when she found a lump in her breast during an annual check-up. As a result, she had to get a biopsy done immediately.

Paige Spiranac admits to cancer scare through social media post

While Spiranac posted her annual Christmas post with yet another sizzling picture of herself, she hasn’t been quite active lately. For someone who’s quite frequent with her posts, she had merely posted once prior to Christmas in December. In response to questions from worrying fans, Spiranac disclosed that she had been concerned about her health while on vacation.

However thankfully, her biopsy results came out negative, which means the lump on her breast is not cancerous. Paige provided the good news to fans in a recent social media post, “I recently had to get a biopsy done. It came back negative which I’m so grateful for.”  This eventually reassured her legion of fans around the world. Indeed, Spiranac was grateful for the test result, but it served as a timely reminder to get her regular checkups done.

While Spiranac isn’t diagnosed yet, she would have to check on her lump regularly to avoid its further growth. She didn’t give an update about returning from her holidays yet, but we expect to see her very soon, considering the golf season is only a few weeks away.
