But his practice was paused after a meetup with popular rapper DJ Khaled. The singer-producer is known for his big hits and commands a legion of followers on the internet. The 47-year-old is an ardent follower of golf as well. Furthermore, he even made an appearance in one of the PGA Tour’s commercials last year, where he rattled some basic rules of golf, in his typical panache.

In the clip shared by Daly’s social media account, DJ Khaled is seen holding a can of ‘Good Boy Vodka’, a series of ready-to-drink cocktails inspired by the golfer. The rapper tried out the iced tea-lemon flavor, after which he instantly hugged a seated Daly.

The famous rapper also featured in another clip with Daly in which he shakes the golfer’s hands and congratulates him on his comeback. But despite making his return to action, is Daly ready to play again?

Why was Daly sidelined from golf?

The ‘Wild Thing’ has seen his fair share of problems in recent years. He was diagnosed with a form of cancer, for which he went through extensive diagnosis.

But the 2-time major championship winner underwent knee surgery last year, which took months to heal from. Having returned to action on the PGA Tour Champions, Daly would be keen to get some practice in his legs ahead of the major championships this season.
