The soon-to-be mom finally becomes a mother. Back in August, an excited Jessica Korda had taken to her Instagram handle to share a piece of good news with the community. Now, six months later, as mentioned in the previous post, she has welcomed her newborn baby boy into the world. Well, she didn’t keep the news to herself once again.

The 30-year-old took to her Instagram handle a little while back to share the news of the arrival of her precious baby boy. However, as soon as she did so, the post went ahead to blow up on the internet, eliciting heartwarming wishes from many, including various LPGA Tour pros.

Greyson John DelPrete. Who is he, you might ask? It’s the name of Korda’s newborn baby, whom she and her husband Johnny DelPrete welcomed into this world not too long ago. The post shared by the six-time LPGA Tour champ showcases a picture of the mom and dad gently holding the baby’s tiny hands as he sleeps next to his mother at the hospital. The pro shared the date of the child’s arrival as well in her caption: “2.3.24.”

The news still managed to captivate the hearts of many, despite being an expected one owing to the announcement back in August. The post, back in 2023, featured a picture of her dog, Charlie, sitting next to a board and a pair of small FootJoys. The board contained the words, “Delprete, Tee time for 3 coming February 2024,” announcing her stepping into the beautiful journey of motherhood.

Just like back in August, the entire golf community reached out to the mama hen to extend their wishes. Even she wouldn’t have imagined the number of comments that came her way just three hours after she shared the picture.

Lexi Thompson also took to her Instagram to share her best wishes for the athlete who just stepped into motherhood. The 28-year-old took to respond, “Congrats Jess!!” under the post while expressing her happiness for Korda.

One mama hen to another. This time around, it was Michelle Wie West who decided to dish out her best wishes to her fellow mother, who is also a golfer. Both had gone ahead to take a break from the sport for their child and now, the older mom took to congratulate the younger one: “CONGRATS MAMA!!!!!”

Korda’s friend Megan Khang didn’t go for a cup of coffee but went ahead into the comment section of the post to share her greetings for the couple. Moreover, she commented, “Congratulations!!! Our baby Greyson has arrived,” while expressing excitement for her friend’s situation.

This time, the wishes came all the way from another country. Suzann Pettersen, the non-playing captain of the 2023 Solheim Cup, dubbed the newborn baby as the best thing life could offer while conveying her heartwarming response, “Awwhhh congratulations from Norway. Life’s best gift!!”
