Charley Hull ‘Boils’ as Her New Year’s Resolution and LPGA Prep Gets Hindered By Unexpected Events

It looks like Charley Hull has started 2024 on the wrong foot. The 29-year-old golfer, coming from Sunningdale, outside of London, was gearing up for many practice drills and sessions with her coach to up her game for the upcoming 2024 season.

However, the recent turn of events has left the three-time LET champion with a sour taste in her mouth. As an active golfer and social media user, Hull took to her Instagram to share with her followers about her “moody” phase and told them about the reason behind her not-so-happy new year.

The two-time LPGA Tour winner welcomed 2024 by wishing her followers a happy and healthy new year. However, after four days, it seems it is neither going happy nor healthy for Charley Hull. The 27-year-old golfer expressed her discontent regarding catching the flu and then an unprecedented storm hurdling her daily life.

The English golfer shared an Instagram story about being frustrated by getting sick and missing out on the new year’s fun. Hull said on her Instagram story update, “Sickness bug don’t feel to clever. So much going round this time if the year I’ve only just got over the flu!”

Moreover, the golfer was ranting as she missed her daily routine of golf practice and exercising. Hull, describing her anger, said, “Boiling I’m missing my golf lesson and gym today.” Not only that, Hull had her routine disturbed yesterday as well.

A couple of stories down, the two-time LPGA Tour winner remarks how her customary gym session and golf lessons were postponed for two days in a row, which has made her “moody.” The worst came to worst, and both her passions—golf and gym—were canceled back to back. It seems like the beginning of the new year could not really uplift the British golfer’s spirits, as Hull had ended 2023 on quite a somber note as she experienced the loss of her beloved pet that always delighted her, even through storms.

A while back, Charley Hull informed her followers on Instagram about the passing of her dog. Bella was her cuddle partner and a supporter. On 12th December 2023, Hull shared an Instagram story about her dog and stated she was “gutted” to hear about her demise.

Bella and Hull had been together for eight long years, and through it all, Bella’s presence played a strong and pivotal role in the LPGA star’s life. In the Instagram post dedicated to Bella, the Englishwoman wrote a five-word message to Bella as she bid her farewell. Hull wrote with a broken heart, “RIP Fly high Baby Bells.”

After losing her emotional support just a few weeks ago, the sickness and the off-putting weather might have affected Hull more than ever before. After the clouds are clear and the sickness goes away, Charley Hull would surely like nothing more than to visit the gym and the golf course like she always does!
