With less than a day left for the Solheim Cup to start at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainsville, Virginia, the anticipation is running high. Last year, the tournament was held in Europe, but this time, it is in America. It’s only natural that there will be more fans supporting Nelly Korda and other American golfers. While there is a high chance of “USA” chants there are also high chances of “Europe” boos and Charley Hull is ready to face it all.

Recently Golf Monthly shared a video on Instagram featuring Hull. In the video, the golfer shared her thoughts about fans’ support saying “I think we have more advantage when we go America because there are less expectations on us.” While talking about it she further shared her thoughts on cheers and said “When everyone is cheering your name and everything I think that’s way more pressure than when people are booing against you.” Charley Hull believes that the cheering can make it more challenging for a golfer to play, and she plans to use this to her advantage, especially since there might be more support for the American team.

Last year, the tournament concluded in a 14-14 tie, with golfers from both Europe and the USA showcasing impressive skills. Stacy Lewis is now preparing for her chance at revenge, making it intriguing to see how this year’s tournament will unfold. We’ve heard Charley Hull’s thoughts—does anyone from Team USA have something to say? Yes, Nelly Korda does but it’s not about the crowd but the tournament instead.
