In the early stages of his career, Woods expressed the hardships he had been facing while playing on the golf course because of various allergies. During one of his appearances on the course, Woods Jr. was also seen struggling with something similar to that of his father. The 15x major champion suffers from an allergy called rhinitis, or hay fever. This seasonal allergy has caused issues for the legendary golfer since he started playing golf. Once in 2002, Woods remarked that he was “allergic to his job.” Giving more clarification about the allergies, he said that he was allergic to “grass, trees, dust, pollen.” Shockingly, these are all the elements that are mostly found on a golf course.

Back in 2021, Woods was cheerfully watching a video of the similarities he shared with his son, and that’s when he confirmed that they both have allergies. “Just the nose thing we have,” he said. He explained, “We both have allergies, so we both struggle on the golf course. We get like wind blowing and we’re both sniffing. Just that little thing that we both have.”
