TWLEGION, Woods’ official fan community page, posted a tweet about what Tiger could possibly wear at the 2022 Open Championship (British Open). The tweet contained images of the golf polo t-shirts that Nike has released, especially for the Open Championship.

“A couple of the TW polos scripted for The Open Championship have recently hit the US & Canadian Nike stores,” the caption read. “Also noticed this modified version of the Frank tee on the Canadian store. Also attached a pic of the other colors of Open polos but only red and white are scripted.”

According to TWLEGION, only the red and white polos are scripted. Hence, there is a chance that Woods might wear either one of them from the entire set.

Is Tiger Woods making a comeback at the Open Championship?

According to the golfer, he will play at the 2022 Open Championship at St. Andrews Links. However, he would make his comeback through the JP McManus Pro-Am. Notably, Woods has won the event once.

Understandably, Woods has looked forward to playing at St. Andrews since he made a comeback at the Masters earlier this year following a long break from golf due to his car accident in 2021. According to the golfer, it is his favorite golf course in the world, where he has won the major tournament twice.

Initially, Woods had revealed that he would play in the major events following a quick recovery. However, his health didn’t allow him to complete the PGA Championship or play at the U. S. Open.

Now, Woods has announced that he will make his second comeback through the JP McManus Pro-Am and will play the 4th major the following week. And he will probably wear either the new edition red or the white Nike polos at the Open Championship. How did you like the new design? Do you think he will succeed in scripting an epic comeback story this time around?
