Mother Nature hasn’t been kind to the first major of the LPGA season. The 2025 Chevron Championship has faced multiple weather disruptions since Thursday. Lightning suspended the first round, leaving 24 players stranded mid-swing. Then darkness halted play on Friday evening, creating a scheduling nightmare for tournament officials. Through it all, two determined competitors have emerged. Haeran Ryu and Mao Saigo stand tied atop the leaderboard heading into Sunday’s final round. The duo has weathered literal storms to maintain their positions. Their mental toughness has been just as impressive as their shotmaking skills.
