Ben Griffin moved into a nice position for his first PGA Tour victory with a solid bogey-free round on Saturday, giving him a three-shot lead in the Sanderson Farms Championship. However, the pressure of the final day is something very few golfers can deal with.
Ben Griffin too succumbed to the pressure of the win on the final day and Luke List stole the show at the $1.4 Million deal. It is earth-shattering to be at the center of the universe ready to grab your first win and then that being taken away from you in a second. This did not just affect Griffin but also his mother who was hopeful that her son would clinch the title.
