This week, the saga of weather turning out to be the antagonist of the PGA Tour events prevailed once again. At 9:06 p.m. local time, darkness suspended the opening round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. While Matt Wallace led the event at 8-under during the suspension, the remaining pairings resumed their rounds on Friday ahead of the second round, with Garrick Higgo, Lanto Griffin, and Davis Thompson kicking things off at 8:01 a.m.

Fortunately, after the first round, there have been no delays so far. However, that may soon change. Dark clouds (literally) seem to loom over the ultimate round of the CJ Cup, Byron Nelson, where Taylor Pendrith leads by a stroke over Jake Knapp!
