LIV Golf is organizing a promotional event

LIV Golf is popular for its experimental status. While the league opted for its players in 2022, the golfers didn’t have to undergo a standard selection process. Even the format of the game follows 54 holes with no cuts. But recently their unconventional system became a tragedy for the association.

As the golfers forwarded a plea to OWGR to include the players in their points system, the chairman turned down their request and backed his decision by stating that the league is not considered a proper golf association. This came as a huge blow for not only Greg Norman but also the LIV loyalists.

A tweet has been shared which says a LIV Golf promotional event will take place in Abu Dhabi during the month of December. The best three golfers will earn a place in the LIV Golf 2024 season. Even a detailed account of players who can participate has been released. The format of the game will be an 18-hole stroke play over three rounds.
