The LPGA Tour heads to Naples for the biggest payday worth $11 M in women’s golf this Thursday for the 2025 CME Group Tour Championship.  The golfers will fight at the challenging Tiburón Golf Club, where the winner will walk away with a $4 million check this weekend. Only the absolute best golfers from the 2025 season earned a ticket to this event, and there’s no cut, so all 60 players play all four rounds on the tricky Gold Course. Greg Norman designed this course to test every single club in the bag. And it’s the place where precision beats power. Now, let’s look at the five stars who have the best shot at winning:

Jeeno Thitikul (+600)

Jeeno Thitikul enters Naples as the heavy betting favorite for the week. Thitikul won the CME Group Tour Championship event just last year and has finished inside the top 10 every time she played here. She currently leads the Vare Trophy race with the Tour’s lowest scoring average of 68.88, and her putter is on fire, ranking fourth on Tour in putting average this season.

Thitikul knows exactly how to handle the grain on Tifeagle Bermuda grass and arrives in Florida with the confidence of a world-beater after surpassing Nelly Korda in the World Ranking in August. So, Jeeno lists at 6-to-1 odds for very good reasons and looks ready to defend her title and claim the cash.

And while Jeeno relies on putting, one American star relies on pure power.

Nelly Korda (+1000)

Nelly Korda presents a fascinating puzzle for sports bettors this week. As per Golf News Net, Korda sits at 10-to-1 odds to win the 2025 CME Group Tour Championship despite having zero wins in 2025.  However, Korda’s numbers tell a much different story. Despite losing her first position to Thitikul, Korda ranks first on the Tour in strokes gained off the tee this season. Plus, she gains over 2.33 strokes against the field every single day. It means Korda strikes the ball better than anyone else and creates opportunities that other players cannot match.

Korda won a record seven times in 2024 with two major championships and an Olympic gold medal. And she has eight top-10 finishes but needs her putter to cooperate on these tricky Bermuda greens. So, if her putter finally wakes up, the “sleeping giant” might easily outplay everyone else tee-to-green.  And you cannot ignore the best ball-striker in the world, right?

Stats tell one story, but history tells another for our next pick.

Charley Hull (+1400)

Charley Hull won her first LPGA title here back in 2016 and clearly loves to play at Tiburón Golf Club. The English star ranks fourth in total strokes gained this season with a 2.04 mark. And Hull proved her toughness by winning the Kroger Queen City Championship recently and finishing runner-up at the AIG Women’s Open this year.

Reports indicate that she feels fine after recovering from an illness that led to her missing the Annika Pro-Am. But Hull knows exactly what it takes to lift this trophy and brings great vibes to Florida with an amazing value at 14-to-1 odds this week.

Minjee Lee (+1600)

Minjee Lee thrives when the lights shine the brightest. Lee finished T14 at The Chevron Championship, T22 at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, and then won her third major victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June. She finished third at the Amundi Evian Championship and thirteenth at the AIG Women’s Open most recently.

Lee sits at 16-to-1 odds and handles the pressure of big checks better than almost anyone. And her stats nearly match Korda’s incredible ball-striking numbers this year. Lee ranks second in Strokes Gained Total with a 2.32 mark. She consistently hits greens and gives herself easy birdie chances, and the Australian finished top eight here twice in the last three years. And after securing her second Rolex Annika Major Award for 2025, Lee enters the week prepared to steal the spotlight.

And while precision defines Lee, explosive scoring defines our next veteran contender.

Sei Young Kim (+1600)

Sei Young Kim knows how to win on this golf course completely. She won the 2019 title here after scoring a 72-hole scoring record at an absurd 31-under par at the 2018 Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic. The veteran offers 16-to-1 odds for sports bettors and creates birdies in bunches when she finds her rhythm.

And after a five-year dry spell, she finally snapped a painful winless drought in October at the BMW Ladies Championship. That big four-stroke win proved that her explosive game is officially back in business. And her 15th rank in putting is a great sign for her chances this week.

The favorites draw eyes, but a rookie is a dark horse in the event.

Miyu Yamashita (+1700)

Keep a close eye on Miyu Yamashita if you want a smart underdog pick. You can grab her at tempting odds of +1700 right now. The 2025 Rookie of the Year has already won two titles this season, including the AIG Women’s Open, and ranks fifth in strokes gained total and first in strokes gained putting, which is deadly effective on these grainy Florida greens.

She captured a playoff victory at the Maybank Championship recently and is chasing the Player of the Year award, so her motivation is sky-high. Miyu Yamashita is the perfect sleeper pick to steal the show and the big check.
