Recently, LIV golfer Louis Oosthuizen made a career record by winning two back-to-back titles at the DP World Tour. The South African descent won the Alfred Dunhill Championship and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. He became the second golfer from his team, Stinger GC, to clinch the feat after Dean Burmester.

Flushing it Golf reported the great feat by Oosthuizen and commented that “playing on LIV actually helps players improve their careers.” Backing the argument are the two victories of Oosthuizen, and Joaquin Niemann’s winning the ISPS HANDA Australian Open.

The recent victories by the LIV defectors prove that LIV Golf is more than just ‘exhibition golf’ and does help the golfers. The former Tiger Woods coach also weighed in his thoughts on the matter and re-shared the post by saying that the “Corrupt Golf Media” would never admit to the positive impact LIV Golf has over its players’ careers.

This is not the first time Haney has shown his support for LIV defectors or the league. In one of his previous tweets, Haney reposted another tweet and took a sly dig at those who oppose the breakaway league and criticize its players.

Undoubtedly, a remarkable record for the LIV golfers countering the golf community’s biases. Haney came to back the players again and said, “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but no one is entitled to their own facts,” implying that people cannot deny the facts about the LIV Golf players and their unbound talent.

With LIV defectors rising and winning the various events, the rank of these golfers will subsequently move up and the chances of them playing at the Majors will increase. Do you think by next year, LIV golfers will attain the dream of playing at majors despite a lack of OWGR points?
