A month ago, on Sorenstam’s 53rd birthday, Will gave her mother a befitting tribute by playing at a US Kids Golf event. Mike was impressed and posted on X, the erstwhile Twitter: “Will gave mama a nice birthday present today. He played the event. Struggled for a lot of the day but made a 20 footer for birdie to get into a playoff, knowing he had to make it. Then he birdied the first playoff hole for the W. Proud of his fight”…

The best part of Will’s performance was the way he raised his game under pressure.
