Woods once described a similar incident with his son in a video shared by his TGR Live. While a guest asked the golfer if he could have his old wedges, it reminded him of something Charlie said to him earlier.
He explained the incident and said, “I had to cut down one of my backup putters,” because Charlie wanted a similar one to his old man. He stated that his son had watched his struggles while putting at the Quail Hallow event. And looking at that, he roasted his dad asking him, “You want your backup putter back?”
