Max Homa’s response to the Tiger Woods’ Swilcan Bridge picture replica
In a recent Instagram update, @kclairerogers, the golf analyst posted a picture of her walking down the famous Swilcan Bridge in St Andrews Links golf course, Scotland. The bridge was the same one that golfing legend Tiger Woods was captured passing after missing his cut at the Open Championship last year.
The picture Claire posted is a collage of her and Woods’ picture paralleled together, wherein she is seen replicating Woods’ pose. Woods’ picture is cropped, leaving PGA Tour player Max Homa out of the frame. The story that followed was a full picture of the scene from the Scottish greens last year: A picture of Woods with Homa in the frame.

Seeing the picture, Homa posted about the crop on his Instagram story. Quoting the picture with a caption, in a very Homa style, the golfer said, “Claire cropped me out of the last one. Can’t be missing the cut in the tourney and the pic,” referring to how he finally made it to both.

“It was crazy, especially because it was at St Andrews, the walk up 18. Unfortunately, he [Tiger] missed the cut, but walking up 18, the ovation he got was absurd. It made the hairs stand up on my neck,” Homa had remarked.
The player was clearly moved by the ovation Woods received from the crowd, especially during his walk at St Andrews. Homa’s reaction to the picture this time around exemplifies how the picture still reminds him of the grandiose moment he experienced with the living legend walking ahead of him.
