The 6X LPGA Tour champ, along with her skipper Stacy Lewis, was seen pleading for help after her unlucky start to the biennial event. But, to the surprise and relief of many of her fans and followers, Kang came out to divulge some revelations, involving a rifle case and one of her clubs ahead of the clash of the titans; a piece of comforting news no less!

Danielle Kang reveals her savior

The 30-year-old professional had taken to her social media a while back to address an unfortunate situation that happened at the airport involving her golf clubs. Imploring to the world, Kang had posted how her entire golf bag went missing at the Amsterdam airport and she needed help getting it back.

Addressing the press conference ahead of the Solheim Cup with her teammates Lexi Thompson and Ally Ewing, the unfortunate golfer mentioned how she has lost all of her clubs except for the good ol’ putter, which she carries with her putter separately “in a rifle case”. The 1X major winner revealed how she carries it in the case, owing to the putter being “a different model” and her not having a bending machine for it in case it gets crooked, in an amusing manner.

Continuing with her response, the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship winner was visibly thankful that “the putter didn’t get lost.” Moreover, she was hopeful that the situation would get resolved soon as she expressed trust in her captain Lewis, “We have faith. Stacy is on it.”

The tools are vital to a player in the game of golf and Kang has not been able to train to her fullest with her equipment missing. With some good news in the form of a rifle case for her putter, one can hope that her unlucky times in the sport involving bags might be reaching the end.

Kang’s unfortunate streak in golf

The American golfer had some bitter memories during the Amundi Evian Championship that took place earlier this year. Along with not making the cut, the professional experienced another problem in the form of her bags going missing while traveling. She had also taken to her Twitter handle to plead with British Airways to resolve her issue at the earliest.

Moreover, the situation back then has stark similarities to the current one as, in both times, the bag has been deemed missing. However this time, it involves her clubs as opposed to her usual bags. Well, it stands to reason that the golfer might have an actual unlucky streak with her bags and flying.
