In 2017, the golf world saw Jane Park walk away from the fairways in the wake of the tragic news about her daughter’s epileptic seizures. Although she put her clubs away, the bonds Park forged on the greens became a source of strength during her turbulent times.

As she accepted the Heather Farr Award at the Rolex LPGA Awards, Park described the support she got during her continued hiatus. One of the avid supporters of Grace and Park is six-time LPGA winner, Danielle Kang. Kang has been frequenting Grace whenever she can and her recent visit came to the surface as Mama Park thanked her.

Park’s successful golfing career came to a halt with her daughter’s woeful health condition. The golfer chose to put her irons away and focused all her energy on taking care of her daughter. Amidst the challenges and struggles, the LPGA tour and the players chose to stand by the 36-year-old golfer. On 16th November the golf world honored Jane Park with the Heather Farr Perseverance Award. The golf world celebrated Park’s inspirational journey of strength and resilience.

Kang happens to be an ardent fan of Park and has cited the American golfer as one of her inspirations. The 31-year-old golfer also shares a very warm relationship with not only Park but her daughter as well. During the occasion of Thanksgiving, Kang took the time out to visit the Godfrey residence and meet Park’s daughter Grace.
