From becoming a part of the PGA TOUR Policy Board as the sixth Player Director to playing a crucial role in the upcoming patriotic showdown between Europe and America, the golfer has managed to mark his presence in the sport despite his absence.

Although no updates regarding his health have made the rounds recently, the golf world is filled with hope regarding his return to the course. And now, a possible comeback might be in the cards for the GOAT as a new update hints at the legend’s involvement in the approaching tournament—none other than the 2023 Nexus Cup!

The 2022 Nexus Cup saw the 82-time PGA Tour winner make his appearance at the Liberty National in New Jersey, which once hosted the Presidents Cup in 2017. Despite his injuries, Woods was able to grace the course, which hosted the ‘ultimate amateur golf experience’. Moreover, he was able to hit some balls on the driving range next to his American compatriot, Sam Burns.

Although a tweet by TWLegion hinted at a possible return, the question of whether the golfer would actually appear was something that was far from being answered. But an Instagram post uploaded a while back by tgrliveevents brings a lot of hope to the golf community. The update shared showcases a picture of the legend sporting a smile with his words at the side.
