According to the golfer, the PGA Championship follows a “point system that is directly reflective of the PGA Tour money list”. He mentioned how the PGA of America sends invites to players based on their world ranking and major victories.

The golfer also claimed that non-PGA Tour players like Minwoo Lee and Harold Varner have also received invitations. “They’ve sent this letter to have been ranked below me at that moment in time,” he said. But on the other hand, he mentioned, “I haven’t received an invite yet. And I’m, you know, very hopeful that, you know, that that will change over the next few weeks.”
