LPGA Star Minjee Lee showcased her resilience recently, clinching a nail-biting playoff win at the Kroger Queen City Championship in Cincinnati, her first LPGA Tour triumph in over a year. With an exceptional birdie on the second playoff hole, Lee edged England’s Charley Hull, marking her first victory since her second major triumph at the 2022 US Women’s Open.

PGA Tour Professional Min Woo Lee, younger brother of Minjee Lee, clinched the 2016 US Junior Amateur title and was T3 in the 2017 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship. Currently, he is playing at the DP World Tour’s BMW PGA Championship with a prize purse of $9M. His social media post from the event received a massive response.

The rising star from Perth, Min Woo Lee, is making waves at the BMW PGA Championship, posting a commendable second-round score of 67. Following his impressive game, Lee shared a significant moment from his round. He took to social media, sharing a sensational ‘filthy’ flop shot executed on Wentworth’s final hole, which is fast becoming a fan favorite.

Giving a witty name to his shot he mentioned, “My chip in on 18 yesterday was good, but this floppaddoppollus was on another level.” He added,“Bogey-free today & onto the weekend baby #LetHimCook.”

Min Woo Lee comes from a family deeply rooted in golf. The mother, Clara, herself is a pro golfer. There is no surprise how both siblings have cemented their positions, each finding a place within the world rankings’ top 50. Min Woo Lee’s recent performance has been commendable.
