Daly’s fans, meanwhile, were treated to another disappointing revelation about his health recently. Per reports, he has pulled out from an upcoming event in Scotland due to scheduled knee surgery. Amidst rising speculations about his health, the PGA Tour pro’s daughter has now offered an insight into his current situation!

Daly’s daughter provides a new update about the golfer

Fan-favorite John Daly, is currently a shadow of his former self and mainly appears on the PGA Tour Champions. Daly’s struggles with his knee are well-known, as he underwent a knee replacement procedure in late-2022.

As fans await updates regarding his surgery, Daly’s daughter Shy took to Instagram to share some wholesome photos of the golfer. The bad boy of golf seemed to be in good spirits as he enjoyed a weekend getaway at the Old Hickory Country Club in Tennessee. He also had his trusty-old golf club keeping him company!

The father-daughter duo enjoys a lovely relationship and often updates fans about their golfing sessions. Shy Daly even shared a cute moment of her father enjoying a slo-mo dance with a friend on the golf course on her Instagram story.

The golfer was set to make a guest appearance at the Torrance House Golf Club in East Kilbride this summer but has now pulled out because of his knee-related challenges. His latest photos will definitely alleviate the worries of his loyal fans.

John Daly cancels his upcoming guest appearance

On July 28, Scotland’s Torrance House Club was all set to participate in an event dedicated to his memorable career. However, Daly will be a no-show because of his upcoming surgery. Dispirited fans will also be receiving refunds for their tickets.

Per Glasgow World,  event organizer Artistes International Management (AIM) broke the news in an email. “John Daly’s manager informed us over the weekend that John will be going into hospital at the end of May or early June for surgery on his knee, therefore due to the recovery period we are unable to go ahead as planned with our event in East Kilbride on Friday 28th July,”  it read.
