The LPGA 2023 season has concluded. While many golfers were victorious, Nelly Korda was not as fortunate as the others. The younger of the Korda sisters, Nelly’s winless year echoed the 2020 season on the LPGA Tour, when she did not card any victories.

While Nelly Korda did not win any titles this year, her various finishes in the events guaranteed her substantial money for the 2023 season’s earnings. Without any victories, how much did the 1x Major champion earn in the LPGA 2023 season?

In the initial stages of the 2023 season, Nelly Korda had her first Top 5 finish. She carded a solo fourth at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January. The fourth finish gave her a $99,457 check despite the loss. The next two tournaments were as eventful as before. Korda came close to winning the HSBC Women’s World Championship. However, she ended it with the runner-up title and $169,299 in her bank.

At the LPGA Drive On Championship at the Superstition Mountains, Korda was T57, and this was one of her fourth-lowest performances of her in 2023. Next week on the Tour, Korda got herself together for the DIO Implant LA Open. Still without any victories, though finishing T5 was not as bad as the previous one. The second-best performance of Korda was at The Chevron Championship.

Getting herself comfortable as the third on the leaderboard, Korda got the highest paycheck of the season, $347,974 at The Chevron. Korda finished tied at 6th for the JM Eagle LA Championship. However, for the next two events, she missed the cuts. Before the Solheim Cup, Korda earned $21,739 (T14) at the Portland Classic and $17,308 (T32) at the CPKC Women’s Open.

After the patriotic battle in Spain, Nelly Korda returned home mentally and physically drained. The LPGA covergirl then decided to take a break. During her hiatus, she missed three of the LPGA Tour events. She hit the greens once again at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. With 9 under 279, Korda had T16 on the leaderboard and $28,481 for the 2023 career earnings.

In the midst of the career drought, Nelly Korda missed the TOTO Japan Classic. The last two events she played were The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. The 8x LPGA Tour winner finished T25 for The ANNIKA ($30,042) and concluded the season with T8 ($98,500) for the final CME Group Tour Championship.

A winless year and yet Nelly Korda stands 20th on the 2023 LPGA Tour money list with $1,397,796. This has been possible because of her nine Top 10s and one runner-up position. Although the LPGA 2023 season was without a single victory, Korda still has one in her basket, just on the Ladies European Tour.
