LPGA star Rose Zhang entered the professional world of golf with a bang. After all, how many people can say that they defeated a long-standing record set by legendary golfer Tiger Woods himself? But Zhang did it with flair.

The 20-year-old golfer then proceeded to win her maiden title at her debut tournament as a pro. Not for nothing is Zhang referred to as the female Tiger Woods of golf and has amassed a huge fan following in the little time she has spent as a professional golfer. Now, with her patriotic dream coming to realization Zhang shared an adorable moment with her fans on social media.

Add the Mizuho Americas Open, Rose Zhang Displayed her competitive nature with valor when she claimed the title during the playoff. Since then, she has played in four major tournaments where she finished in the top 10 in three of them. She is currently 30th on the Rolex ranking. However, what is truly extraordinary is Zhang making it into the coveted Solheim Cup this season.

Fans are very excited to witness the rising star of the LPGA Tour living her patriotic dream weeks before the event is scheduled. One adorable fan made a placard for the American golfer and posed for the cameras at this week’s Portland Classic where Zhang is currently playing.

The little girl dressed in a pink jacket held up a sign that read “Rose” with pink hearts all around it. The fan who shared the picture wrote, “Waiting for Rose Zhang.” The LPGA star couldn’t resist sharing the heartwarming post with her fans on her Instagram story. She also wrote, “This is way too adorable.”

Zhang’s performance at the Portland Classic

As the first round drew to an end, the female counterpart of Tiger Woods was faring low in T122 with a 2-over 74. The 72-par golf course in Portland, Oregan witnessed French golfer Perrine Delacour shoot 9-under 63 in round 1 to lead.
