It’s been months since DJ Khaled last released music for his fans. One of the reasons for his absence from the music world could be mainly due to his love for the game of golf. The notable music producer has displayed his golfing skills through various reels on Instagram. In the latest video, Khaled stuns everyone with a mesmerizing putter from a few yards away from the hole.

Looking at his constant growth in the 18-hole sport, the Louisiana-born DJ may be a few years away from earning a PGA Tour card. He has even instilled the same passion for golf in his 6-year-old son. While his recent video, he may have impressed the golf world with his attributes, it did upset the fans with the lack of golf etiquette followed by him.

Golf world reacts to DJ Khaled on the greens

Though he has always shared his driving range videos with his fans, the music producer’s recent reel displayed his putting skills. Khaled impressed his fellow golfers in the group by securing the far-away putt on the windy greens of Miami Beach Golf Club.

“Go in, go in, go in”, said the DJ as the ball rolled towards the hole. He then jumped in joy, threw his putter, and started fist-bumping his fellow golfers. “You got that right”, DJ Khaled asked the cameraman. He then picked up the ball from the hole, and emotionally said, “That’s the highlight. God is great”.

Following his impressive shot, many appreciated the music producer in the comments section. “This is good content”, wrote the PGA Tour’s Instagram handle. “Tiger who”, joked another fan. However, many questioned DJ Khaled’s golf etiquette for stepping on fellow playing partners putting lines.

“You just stepped on everyone else’s line”, commented one fan, while the other fan wrote, “At some point you’re going to have to learn the rules AND etiquette”. Nonetheless, few fans also pointed out the producer’s passion for the sport. One fan even trolled the DJ by writing, “29 takes…you ain’t fooling nobody”.

Though it is unclear if DJ Khaled did require plenty of takes to strike the impressive shot, it still demands love for the sport of golf. As he progresses to learn more about the attributes and etiquette in the coming weeks, Khaled could eventually find himself competing in the future Pro-Am tournaments.
