The last season of golf saw many ups and downs. Players left the legacy of the PGA Tour behind and joined the LIV Golf of their own volition, even though they faced scrutiny. However, Tour loyalists like Tiger Woods did not give up on the Tour that made him the GOAT. The rival Tour’s commissioner, Greg Norman, confirmed this in an interview with FOX News. He rejected an offer somewhere in the $700 million to $800 million range. But the tables are turning in an unexpected way. The recent Twitter post by TWLEGION has made the claims of LIV Golf a laughingstock.

Is Danny Lee supporting Tiger Woods?

The recent Twitter post is throwing the claims of LIV Golf into a dumpster. Since the beginning, the LIV Golf players have been saying they don’t need Tiger Woods to make the Saudi-backed circuit a success. They have enough players to get LIV Golf going all the way to great heights. Danny Lee, the team member of Bubba Watson’s Iron Heads GC, wore TW 2020 shoes and hosted the flag of victory at Tucson.

Some comments like, “In front of dozens of fans!” “Because he can’t get new ones” and “Helluva way to win!!” are proof of Lee becoming a contradiction to the claims. After all, they do need a little help from the former number-one golfer. Lee’s actions have become a hot topic of discussion now. And it might raise some questions about LIV Golf and its claims of not needing Woods. Probably, a touch of the 15-times major champion was required.

Woods would have never become part of the Saudi-backed circuit because he never understood the need. In fact, he was disappointed with golfers and the Tour commissioner. Last year, the 15 times major championship winner said, “Greg has done some things that I don’t think are in the best interest of our game.” He was heartbroken because golfers “turned their back on what has allowed them to get to this position.”

How did the individual winner do at the LIV Golf TUCSON?

Danny Lee won the LIV Golf Tucson and prize money of $4 million on Sunday’s second hole of a four-man playoff. He sank a 25-foot birdie putt from off the 18th green for his first victory in nearly eight years. Lee birdied his final two holes to finish at 2-under 69. However, the LIV Golf pro placed his approach on hole No. 18 on the first extra hole. He came within five feet of squandering a wonderful opportunity to win. He moved it right by pushing it. After winning, he said, “I haven’t won since 2015. I thought winning just not my thing. Today has changed that.”

What are your thoughts about the actions of Lee? Was he wrong to wear TW shoes, or was it not a big deal? Please share your views in the comments.
