Matt Fitzpatrick’s breakthrough move sealed his patriotic seat

The Ryder Cup is knocking at the door, and with that, the golf world sits in anticipation to witness this most prestigious event. The American team has already given out the names of the 12-squad team. And this year, even a LIV player, better to say, only a LIV player, Brooks Koepka, will also partake in the event as a member of the US team.

But as far as the European team is concerned, all 12 names have not yet been confirmed. Only four automatic qualifiers whose names were revealed are Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, and Tyrrell Hatton. Now, this leaves room for two seats in the automatic qualifier section.
