Tiger Woods helped the Hollywood actress master golf 

To promote her entertainment activities, Jennifer Aniston was on Jay Leno’s ‘The Tonight Show’ in 1998. Coincidentally, the now-15-time major champion was also there at the show, where he taught the actress the basics of golf, according to a golf.com article.

According to episode nine of the third season of F.R.I.E.N.D.S titled, ‘The One With the Football,’ Aniston’s character Rachel is not good with the sport. However, the actress wouldn’t have the same reputation as her character, at least not after she received a master class from the rising talent at the time, Tiger Woods, during the show.

Celebrities and sports entities would line up to get a golf lesson from Tiger Woods today. However, such was not the case when he appeared as a guest on Jay Leno’s talk show in 1998. Although he had won seven championships on the PGA Tour, including a major, he was yet to win his Tiger Slam and other records, which later made many call him the greatest of all time.

Notably, ‘The Tiger Woods Story’ was released in 1998. It was a film based on the biography of the golfer, written by John Strege named ‘Tiger.’ The movie portrayed his hard work and path, toward the title of the Masters in 1997.
