There is no denying the fact that those golfers who are in LIV Golf are loaded with money. Why? Due to the Middle Eastern league being the most lucrative circuit in the golf world. The prize money for regular LIV Golf events is a mind-blowing $25 million. That is one of the reasons why this league boasts 48 of the top players in the world.

And now, in LIV Golf Jeddah, defending champion Brooks Koepka has successfully maintained his winning streak. For this accomplishment, he won a prize money of $4,000,000. He defeated LIV Golf’s shining star, Talor Gooch, in a playoff. But despite his loss, Gooch has earned more than anyone else this season.

Gooch is one of the biggest threats at LIV Golf. This season, he became the only player in the league to claim three championships. His first victory came in Adelaide. Soon after, he won again in Singapore, becoming the first person to win consecutive LIV events. And in Spain, he showed his extraordinary skills and grabbed another trophy.

Despite Koepka’s victory in Jeddah, Gooch defeated the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith to win the 2023 LIV Golf Series individual title. On top of that, the 31-year-old golfer made a stunning $18 million for winning the title. In addition, Gooch earned $2,250,000 from the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club despite losing in the playoff.

After the OWGR setback, Gooch said he only had one thing in mind: this win. And now his goal has made him the brightest star in his league.

Getting better and learning from mistakes

After earning the enormous sum of $18 million, Gooch became emotional. In an on-course interview, he expressed his gratitude for this. Golf is undoubtedly not an easy sport, and it has its own ways of putting golfers down, but players like Gooch are doing well and improving as they go.

”I just think it’s a validation to the golfer that I am for the hard work we’ve put in for years. This game will beat you up, but we’ve done a good job year after year. Just continue to improve, and getting better, and learning from mistakes,” said the American golfer.

Well, will Gooch carry his magic again next season? Only time will tell. But as of now, we can’t wait for this season’s finale in Miami. Does Talor Gooch’s earnings blow your mind? Let us know in the comments.
