Golf is a tough sport, wouldn’t you agree? The sheer amount of pressure of playing against so many talented golfers, all vying for a single title while battling treacherous weather conditions can take a toll on the mind. And, that’s the problem since golf is a mind game as much as an athletic sport.

He also mentioned Brian Harman’s caddie Scottie Tway in his heartfelt felicitations on Twitter. “Dominant and poised victory for Harm and Scotty Tway. His congratulatory message also included Harman’s team. As a pro golfer, Thomas understands that the people behind the scene are just as important as the man who raised the Claret Jug.

His acknowledgment of the dire conditions at Royal Liverpool amid the rain and wind, coupled with the controversial comments made against Harman, was heart-touching. Justin Thomas himself has faced a lot of controversies this season but his winner’s attitude despite missing the cut is what wins the hearts of his admirers.
