The annual champions dinner is a highly anticipated event in the world of golf. The previous year’s champion has the privilege of curating a menu for the current year’s champions. This year, two major golf tournaments, the Chevron Championship and the Masters, both hosted their champions dinners with distinct menus. Lydia Ko  recently took to her Instagram story to share the menu of the highly anticipated Chevron Champions Dinner.. This year’s menus at the two events could not have been more different, with the Chevron Championship menu being a high-end affair curated by acclaimed chef Thomas A. Keller, while the Masters Champions Dinner was a more casual affair curated by Scottie Scheffler.

At the Chevron Championship Champions Dinner this year, Keller curated a menu that included regiis ova ossetra caviar, ballottine of Four Story Hill Farm milk-fed poularde, and Gateau Marjolaine with Creme Anglaise. The wine of choice was NV Cossart Gordon 5 Year Bual Madeira. The menu was a reflection of Keller’s signature style, which is known for its sophistication and elegance. The dinner was an opportunity for the golfers to indulge in high-end cuisine. Evidently, the meal lived up to the event’s elite reputation.

In contrast, Scottie Scheffler’s menu for the Masters Champions Dinner was more casual and focused on American comfort food. The menu included cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, tortilla soup, Texas ribeye steak, blackened redfish, and warm chocolate chip skillet cookies. The menu was a reflection of Scheffler’s Texas roots and his love of comfort food. The dinner was a more relaxed affair, with the golfers able to enjoy hearty, home-style cuisine in a comfortable setting.
