Winning 100+ championship titles and creating numerous records made Tiger Woods a hero in every golf lover’s heart. Many aspiring golfers, even professional players, consider him their role model. Nonetheless, his former caddie, with whom he had a fallout in 2011, doesn’t have a good report about the golfer’s personality. For him, Woods will always be the man who didn’t treat him as an equal.

The New Zealander, Steve Williams, has caddied for many successful pros, including Greg Norman and Adam Scott. However, he got the limelight in the golf community mostly for caddying for 13 of 15 major events Woods has won.

Despite thinking he is an overrated golfer from their first-ever event, Williams later understood why he is considered the best in the era. However, his respect for Tiger Woods was limited to his professional life and not extended to his personality.

This behavior of the golfer irked Williams a lot. “I felt uneasy about bending down to pick up his discarded club,” his autobiography further read. “It was like I was his slave.”

Notably, the Caddie had issues with Woods for mistreating him. However, he still stayed with the 82-time PGA Tour champion for more than a decade.
