Amidst the chaos, a source has claimed about Woods’ former wife, Elin Nordegren’s outlook on the whole situation. According to them, the 43-year-old is interested only in her children’s welfare, whom she shares with Woods.

During their six years of wedlock, Nordegren and Woods became parents to two children. Daughter, Sam, and son, Charlie. The two were young when the high-profile couple parted ways in 2010, with Woods given custody of the children.

Over the years, the former couple has forged new boundaries in their efforts to co-parent their children. “Of course, she needs to be very confident that the children are safe and happy around anyone that Tiger is with especially if the romance becomes serious,” the source claimed. “To that degree, she is very interested. But not on much else.”

Will Erica Herman’s departure affect Woods’ children?

While Nordegren remained an integral part of her children’s lives over the years, Woods’ partners have shared a cordial relationship with Sam and Charlie. However, the closeness with Herman was unparalleled, with the latter staying at Woods’ Jupiter mansion for over six years.

She was also a regular fixture in Woods’ games, even accompanying his children near the ropes. Her intimacy with the golfer’s children was visible frequently, but it was Woods’ Masters dinner post, captured in his house alongside Herman and his children, that confirmed their bonding as a family.

Nordegren would hope the exit of Herman won’t have an effect on her kids. And so would Woods himself.
